2021 SOCIAL EVENTS
Christmas Meal and Quiz Evening
On Friday 14th December New Milton held a Christmas Meal and Quiz evening.
The day before club members arranged the tables in the dining room to seat 70 people
I think you will agree they did a fantastic job as you can see in the photo.
The turkey dinner was prepared by Karen Milson and with the help of several lady members the meal was served.
Following the dinner, we had Christmas pudding and various sweets, cheese and biscuits and finished up with after eights. The amount of work that went into this was amazing and after the meal Bill Wallace presented Karen with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of her efforts.
During the meal our hosts for the evening Terry Breen and Margaret Hine handed out several quizzes for the members to work on.
There were prizes for the winners of each quiz and a raffle with a very large hamper as first prize. Lady Captain Maureen Clark was the lucky ticket holder.
Our new bar manager Eric Milsom assisted by Mike Moreton kept the drinks flowing all evening.
The whole event was a big success there was a lovely atmosphere throughout and a big thank you goes out to everyone involved in making it a such a great evening.
Over 70 people enjoyed a fun packed evening of Horse Racing and BBQ on Wednesday 24th July in the clubhouse.
There were 8 races sponsored by Stephen Harris Ltd.and volunteer jockeys for each race.
The evening excellently arranged by Mel and Ann Clark created a great club atmosphere.
Eric Milsom was the cook for the evening and produced a lovely BBQ.
Karen Milson and Kevin Holland kept the food coming from the kitchen.
Mike Moreton and Andy White kept the drinks flowing.
So thanks to all for a wonderful evening.
